The China phone maker, haff-comm presents the current United States president, Barack Obama in their Blockberry 9500 advertisement poster with a slogan “Obama have Blackberry, I have blockberry”. Blockberry is based on Huawei K3, Blockberry 9500 runs windows Mobile 6.1, with a 460MHZ proccessor, and features a 3.2 inch touchscreen, WIFI and bluetooth connectivity,Sirf III GPS navigation and supports 3G and EDGE network.

Following the news like Sony Ericsson announcing C901 GreenHeart™, Naite, MH300 GreenHeart™ and Nokia’s ambient radio waves power recharge development, Samsung has launched an affordable solar powered mobile phone, Guru E1107 in India. Solar Guru will be known as Crest Solar in other regions. Now we see large phone manufacturers are environmental awarded trying to find better resources to our beloved Earth.

The Crest Solar won’t be looked upon for its features but rather for its solar charging prowess, which for 1 hour of solar charging can give around 5-10 minutes of talk time. It supports dual GSM bands (900/1800MHz) and includes a 1.52-inches 65K CSTN screen, FM Radio, MP3 ringtones, torch, Mobile Tracker, Fake Call and a 800mAh battery.

Apart from India, Solar Guru will also be launched in June in Europe, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia and Latin America.

It will go for just Rs. 2,799 ($59).

This is a very cool python application where a ball moving 1D, 2D or 3D inside your Symbian phone. Almost everything are customizable, such as 1D, 2D and 3D and even the effective rate of the ball rebound!

The AccelBall 3D author claims that it only works on N93/N95/N95 8GB. I’ve installed AccelBall on my N82. It works fine but just a tiny sign of lagging and no vibration feedback. Might be the problem of MISO. Overall, it is a very cool application. Kudos to MitchS60!

The Nokia N97 is the first device to ship with the Ovi Store, which offers easy access to applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, web and location-based services, and much more. Ovi Store has paid and free content from a range of global and local content providers and developers, including Paramount Pictures, Facebook and Qik, as well as a selection of Twitter applications.
